What is your minimum order amount for free delivery?
• Free delivery on orders $300 + in most GTA areas.
• Free delivery on orders $350 + in Kitchener and Waterloo areas.
• A $25.00 shipping fee (plus HST) on orders under the minimum order amount.
What is the order cut-off time?
The order cut-off time is 11:59PM on the day before the scheduled delivery day.
What is the return policy?
1. You may return dry and frozen products within 3 days from the purchase date. All return items
must be in its original package, unused, unopened. A 10% restocking fee might apply.
2. All refund will be credited back to its original payment method within 3-5 business days after we
receive the product(s).
3. No return on produce, dairy products, fresh meat product, fresh seafood product, special order
product, clearance product, seasonal product etc.
4. Tsukiji Foods Canada reserves the final decision on the return policy.
Can I pick up my order?
Yes, the pickup location is 10952 Woodbine Ave Unit 3, Markham, ON L6C 0H9. The pickup time is Monday-Friday 10:30 am-4:30 pm(excluding public holidays). Please contact us at (905) 927-9996 at least 1 hour before your arrival, so we can have your order ready while you are here. Please pick up at Back Door.
How come the price fluctuates for fresh item?
For fresh products shipped by air, the price will fluctuate every day. It depends mainly on the
market price, freight cost and exchange rate. However, we try to maintain a stable price as much as
we could to ensure a relatively steady price to customer.
How many pieces of sashimi can you cut from 1 LB of fish fillet?
You can cut about 28-35 pieces if each piece is about 10-12g.
What is super frozen?
Super frozen is a technology used to flash freeze fishes and kept at -60 degrees Celsius on
board of the vessels. By doing this, we can maximize the preservation of freshness, color
and flavour of the fishes. Super frozen products are always safe, fresh and consistent.
How to defrost super frozen product?
a) Take out the product and gently wash it with cold water.
b) Wipe it lightly with paper towel to get rid of excess water.
c) Put it into a plastic bag and place it in a pot of cold water for about 1.5 – 2 hours. (Make
sure the plastic bag is sealed properly so the water cannot go inside)
d) Take out the product, wipe lightly with paper towel again to get rid of excess water.
e) Slice and enjoy!

How long can I keep super frozen products in regular freezer?
Super frozen product must be kept at -60 degrees. If you place it in a regular freezer, it’s
better to consume it within three days to ensure the best quality and freshness.
